Your leads are your business. They stay with you.
DialDesk CRM is desktop software. Here is exactly where your data lives, what is encrypted, and what the app does with your Google account.
Stored on your computer
Leads, calls, recordings, emails and settings live in a database on your own PC. We do not run a server that receives them.
Secrets encrypted
Email passwords, API tokens and your Google sign-in are encrypted with Windows Data Protection, tied to your Windows account.
Backups encrypted before upload
Google Drive backups are encrypted on your PC with AES-256-GCM and a key made from your backup password. Google and we see only unreadable files.
Minimal Google access
The app can only see the files it creates in your Drive (drive.file). It cannot open your other documents, photos or emails.
Offline, signed licences
Licence keys are digitally signed and checked on your PC, so activation never sends your data anywhere.
Tamper-protected app
The installed app verifies its own files and blocks common ways of injecting code into it.
PIN lock
Lock DialDesk with a PIN, with automatic lock when you step away.
Calling guardrails
Calling hours, daily limits and a do-not-call list help you follow TRAI rules and respect DND preferences.
How DialDesk CRM uses your Google account
DialDesk CRM asks you to sign in with Google for one optional feature only: Google Drive backup. When you click Connect Google Drive in Settings → Backup & restore, the app requests the permissions shown here. Every other feature works without a Google account.
- You sign in on Google's own page in your browser and approve access.
- The app encrypts its database, attachments and call recordings on your PC with your backup password (AES-256).
- Encrypted files are uploaded to a "DialDesk Backups" folder in your Drive once a day. Old copies are removed after the number of days you choose.
- To restore, you sign in on the new PC, pick a backup and enter your password.
Permissions requested
- See, edit, create and delete only the specific Google Drive files you use with this app
drive.file· To create the backup folder, and upload, list, download and delete its own backup files. It cannot see any other file in your Drive.- Your email address

What we never do
- Your Google data never reaches our servers. It moves only between your PC and Google.
- It is not sold, shared, used for advertising or used to train AI models.
- Nobody at DialDesk CRM can read your backups. They are encrypted before upload.
Stop access at any time with Disconnect in the app, or at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
DialDesk CRM's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Details are in our privacy policy.
Export, delete, disconnect
- Export everything
- Export leads and reports to Excel or CSV at any time, even in read-only mode.
- Delete data
- Deleted leads go to a 30-day recycle bin; you can also delete permanently. Uninstalling and deleting the
%APPDATA%\DialDeskfolder removes everything from the PC. - Disconnect Google
- Click Disconnect in Settings → Backup & restore. This revokes the app's access. Delete the "DialDesk Backups" folder in Drive to remove the backups too.
- Report a security issue
