How to Call 100 Leads a Day from Your PC — Without Hiring More Callers

Most small sales teams in India make 30–40 calls a day. Not because there aren't enough leads, but because the work around each call eats the day: finding the number, dialing it by hand, waiting, writing notes, and remembering who to call back.
Cut that waste and the same person can make 100 calls a day. Here's how.
1. Stop dialing by hand
Typing a 10-digit number takes about 10 seconds. Add finding the lead, unlocking the phone and checking you dialled the right number, and it's closer to 30 seconds. Over 100 calls, that's almost an hour spent just dialing.
Auto-dial fixes this. You load your lead list once, and the next number is dialled the moment you finish a call. With DialDesk, calls go out through your own Android phone and SIM, so there are no per-minute charges. Your normal calling plan is used.
2. Write the result in 5 seconds, not 2 minutes
After every call, record only what matters:
- Outcome: interested, not interested, call back, wrong number
- Next step: demo, quotation, follow-up date
- One line of notes
Use one-click call results instead of typing in a notebook or Excel. Fast notes mean you're ready for the next call straight away.
3. Never lose a follow-up
Most sales are made on the second to fifth call, yet most callers give up after the first. Set a follow-up date on every interested lead and start each morning with today's follow-up list before calling new leads.
A lead who said "call me next week" is worth more than ten fresh numbers.
4. Call in focused blocks
Calling between other work kills momentum. Try this rhythm:
- 10:30–12:30: follow-ups first, then new leads
- 12:30–1:00: send quotations and WhatsApp messages
- 3:00–5:30: second calling block
Two focused blocks of auto-dialing easily cover 100 calls.
5. Send WhatsApp straight after the call
When a lead says "send details", send them while you're still on their mind, in the same minute. Keep ready templates for your brochure, price list and demo link. A message sent within a minute gets a far better response than one sent in the evening.
6. Clean your list before you start
Bad data wastes calls. Before a calling day:
- Remove duplicate numbers
- Remove numbers marked "not interested" or "wrong number"
- Put your freshest leads (from ads or your website) at the top
7. Follow the calling rules
Call only people who have shown interest in your business, during reasonable hours, and respect anyone who asks not to be called again. Keep a do-not-call list and follow TRAI's rules for commercial calls. It protects your number and your reputation.
8. Measure every day
Track three numbers daily:
- Calls made
- Connected calls (calls that were answered)
- Interested leads
If connected calls are low, change your calling times. If interested leads are low, rework your first 20 seconds.
